I am Elizabeth Pastor, Filipino 32 years old and single. I was born and raised in the Isabela Province in northern Philippines. I am the youngest among 5 siblings, my father is a farmer and my mother passed away when I was 15 years old. When I decided to study in college, I was a self-supporting student working part-time in the school library. I finished a 2- year Computer Secretarial Course.

I am proud to say that I have been working as a live-in caregiver/domestic helper for my Chinese employer and her family since October 1997. When I started working with them, the children were 13 and 6 years old and the youngest was just a few days old. I took care of the children with diligence and treated them like my small brothers and sister. I also do household work and prepare meals for the family.

I am fortunate to have a very good employer who treats me as part of her own family but I must move on to improve my life not only for my sake but also for my family in the Philippines.

I am confident that I can adapt with the new environment because of my positive work attitude. I truly hope that my prospective employer will give a chance to work with their family in Canada
